This Privacy Policy explains how Gainsm ("Gainsm", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use gainsm.com and our services. By using Gainsm you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

  • Account details: first name, last name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and timezone.
  • Order details: the public social media usernames, profile links or post URLs you submit for an order.
  • Support messages you send us through tickets, email or WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect your account.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Paystack. We receive the transaction reference, amount and status. We never see or store your full card number, card PIN or mobile money PIN.

2. Information We Receive From Google Sign-In

If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares the following with us, with your permission:

  • Your name
  • Your email address and whether it is verified
  • Your profile picture

We use this information only to create your Gainsm account, sign you in, and contact you about your account and orders. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Google Drive or any other Google data.

Gainsm's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the sign-in service (see section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and process your orders.
  • To process deposits and payments and prevent fraud.
  • To send account emails such as verification, password reset, order and payment notices.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To keep the platform secure and improve our services.

4. What We Never Collect

We never ask for or store the passwords of your social media accounts. Services are delivered using only the public usernames, profile links or post URLs you provide.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us run Gainsm:

  • Paystack: payment processing.
  • Supabase: secure handling of Google Sign-In.
  • Brevo: delivery of account and order emails.
  • Service delivery partners: receive only the public link or username needed to fulfil an order, never your name, email or payment details.
  • Our hosting provider: stores the website and database.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Gainsm and its users.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, protect forms against misuse, and remember preferences such as light or dark mode. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features, including signing in, may not work.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order and transaction records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, fraud prevention or legal reasons. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.

8. Data Security

Your connection to Gainsm is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored as secure hashes, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

9. Your Rights and Choices

  • You can view and update your account details from your profile page.
  • You can request a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account by emailing admin@gainsm.com.
  • You can remove Gainsm's access to your Google account at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

10. Children

Gainsm is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on our website, and the "Last Updated" date above will change.
